What are Mati’s products made from?

Mati’s products are made from mycoprotein, the fermented root-like structure of fungi which offers both excellent taste and texture as well as high nutrition.

 

Are Mati's products plant-based?

Sure are! All of Mati’s products are vegan.

 

Are Mati's Chickenless Fillets nutritious?

Yes! Mati’s Chickenless Fillets are rich in protein and fibre and contain all the essential amino acids.

 

Are Mati's products natural?

Yes! No artificial additives are added to any of Mati’s products.

 

Mati's products are made from fungi but do they actually taste like mushrooms?

Mati’s products are made from mycoprotein but do not taste like mushrooms. In fact, Mati’s Chickenless Fillets taste exactly like chicken and Mati’s Fishless Fillets exactly like fish. Or even better. Don’t believe it? Try for yourself!

 

Where are Mati's products made?

All of Mati’s products are made in Estonia.

 

Do any of Mati's products contain gluten?

We are happy to say that our products do not contain gluten. The only exception to the above would be our Crispy Chickenless Fillets for which we use wheat.

 

How much salt is there in Mati's products per 100 g?

Chickenless Fillets: 0,8 g

Herb and Garlic Chickenless Fillets: 1,1 g

Crispy Chickenless Fillets: 1,1 g

Fishless Fillets: 1,0 g

 

Can Mati's products be stored in a freezer?

Yes! They can.
